Aim and Scopes

The congress’s aim is to provide a scientific and expert forum for stakeholders of agricultural and food production and enable interactive exchange of knowledge and experiences which would result with benefits for agriculture and food sector.

Increasing population and environmental problems such as climate change and drought affect all humanity and human activities. The agriculture and food sector stands out as the sectors most affected by this situation. In addition, with the pandemic we are experiencing, the meaning and value of agriculture and food has increased even more. This pandemic has also exposed the vulnerabilities of existing agriculture and food systems. For this reason, it is very important to discuss about the future of agriculture and to plan the agriculture of the future. Based on this, the theme of the 31st congress was determined as “Future is Agriculture, Agriculture is Future”.

The congress will also provide current scientific findings and trends for the different sub-disciplines in agriculture and food sciences.

The participants from universities, research centers and public institutions will examine the work of other interested persons working in the same fields and also reveal their own fields of study, hence, contribute to the future common research and scientific activities and projects for the participants.
